Mike founded Davidson Engineering Associates in 2017 with a simple philosophy: structural engineering should solve problems, not create them.

As a licensed Professional Engineer with 15 years of experience in residential and light commercial work in the Massachusetts markets, Mike has seen what works, and what doesn't when it comes to delivering projects that actually get built on time and on budget.

Mike discovered early in his career that the best engineering happens when you understand not just the technical requirements, but the budget of a project and the real-world constraints that architects, developers, and builders face every day. This led him to build a practice focused on strategic collaboration to help clients achieve their short and long-term goals.

When Mike isn't in the office, he can be founded raising a young family, meditating, mountain biking or hiking. He believes that the best solutions come from understanding both the technical and human sides of every challenge.
